Two Notorious Bandits Leaders Who Were Recently Captured By The Ongoing Military Onslaught

Banditry is, regrettably, one of the major social vice that is seriously posing security threat at the peace, orderliness and security of life and properties of the citizens of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

Bandits are, frustratingly, unique in the mode of carrying their security havoc which threaten the integrity of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, as a country.

Unfortunately, unlike other major social vices that pose threat at the security of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Bandits can be said to be sophisticated armed robbers who, notoriously, take advantages of lack of heavy security presence in the forest, to attack dwellers of villages, small towns, those dwelling in the forest and, inclusively, the citizens of the Federal Republic of Nigeria who travel through roads that cut across forestry areas.

They take off the belongings of their victims, kill, rape women, kidnap in bulk for ransom and in the recent time, attempt to take off farm, houses, lands or entire community that originally belong to their victims.

No doubt, the primary responsibility of government is to ensure security of life and properties of the citizens. In the light of this, the Federal Government of Nigeria, under the leadership of President Muhammadu Buhari, instructed the Nigeria Military to flush out the bandits from the forests and ensure the security of life and properties of the citizens, irrespective of where they live.

Although, the heat of banditry is being felt elsewhere in the country, their heinous activities are centrally felt in the Northern part of the country. Hence, following the activation of anti-bandit operation by the military, there are two notorious bandit leaders who have been captured alive by the men of Nigeria Military.

Sincerely, Kachalla Gadda Turji was quietly becoming a militia force before his notorious bandit group was shutdown, unexpectedly, by the gallant men of Nigeria Military Force.

Kachalla Gadda Turji was reported to have over 2000 armed men working for him. They kidnap for ransom, kill and, notoriously, terrorize Zamfara, Katsina, Sokoto States and Niger Republic.

Arguably, his notorious banditry group was allegedly linked to the the shut down of Alpha Jet belonging to Nigerian Air Force, some time ago.

Kachalla Gadda Turji who terrorised the Northwestern states from his hideout in Kuyambana Forest, was arrested on September 4, 2021 at a gun duel where his gang members engaged men of Nigerian military.
